Key Club

Key Club International is the oldest and largest service organization among high school students. Since 1925, students have learned the value of helping others by volunteering and performing acts of service in the community.  Students who wish to be considered active members of the club must participate in 50 hours of community service during an entire calendar year. If a student volunteers an average of 75 hours each of their 4 years of high school, they will receive a cord for graduation.

We participate in Backpack Blessings, which helps pack meals for needy students in the local area. Students have written over 100 Christmas cards for the less fortunate, donated dog blankets for McKamey Animal Center, and brought in needed items for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. In addition, Key Club volunteers at many local events in Chickamauga, including the candlelight tours, fall festival, wrapping Christmas presents, and so much more.  Key Club is dedicated to improving the community through participation in local community service projects.

Key Club participates in many community service outreach projects in the local community. During Key Club International week, the school raised over 800 canned goods, which was distributed to local food banks and the needy within the community. We also participate in Backpack Blessings, which helps pack meals for needy students in the local area. Students have written over 100 Christmas cards for the less fortunate, made dog blankets for McKamey Animal Center, and brought in needed items for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. In addition, Key Club volunteers at many local events in Chickamauga, including the candlelight tours, fall festival, wrapping Christmas presents, and so much more.
